What is a BOC-3 form?

A BOC-3 (designation of process agents) is a form required by the FMCSA for motor carriers, brokers, and freight forwarders. It designates legal process agents in all 50 states who can accept legal documents on your behalf.

Yes. The FMCSA requires a BOC-3 filing before operating authority can be granted. Without it, your authority will remain pending.
